Neck Gaiter, Buff, or Balaclava

Essential to keep you warm, but most importantly to keep the sun off your ears, neck, and face while climbing on the glacier. Sunscreen is good, but this is better.

Recommendation

Glacier Glasses

An absolutely essential piece of the kit - designed specifically for the glacier. These glasses cover the peripherals as well to keep as much light as possible from hitting your eyes unfiltered.

Headlamp + Extra Batteries

For all of our bigger climbs, we will utilize an alpine start (between 12-2am), which means numerous hours spent hiking/climbing in the dark. Bring a high quality and waterproof (or water resistant) headlamp to power you through.

Recommendation

Ski Goggles

Glacier glasses will be used predominately, but goggles are nice for the windy days. Make sure the lens is optimized for highly sunny conditions - bring a lowlight lens as well.
