Water Bottles with Insulators

32oz (1 Liter) Waterbottles. The insulator is extremely important for non-insulated water bottles as it will ensure your water is drinkable in extremely cold temperatures while at altitude.

32oz (1 Liter) Thermos. Used for keeping water insulated to avoid freezing in extremely cold temperatures while at altitude.

Solo First Aid Kit

Mandatory for all of our climbers. Our guides will carry a large medical kit on each climb - so we recommend keeping yours small and to only bring the essentials: blister care, ointments, painkillers, personal medication, cough drops, etc.

Recommendation

+ Medicine

We recommend each climber to bring the following prescription medications.  These medications will be used only as required. Please consult with your doctor about medications you may need for high-altitude mountaineering. 

  • Azithromycin - Broad spectrum antibiotics for respiratory and gastrointestinal problems

  • Diamox (Acetazolamide) - For the treatment of Acute Mountain Sickness. 

  • Dexamethasone - For the treatment of altitude illness. 

  • Nifedipine - For the treatment of high-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE).

+ Food

Your meals while on the mountain will be covered for the duration of your climbs. However, we expect you to bring your own snacks on the climbs - this ensures you have what you know works best & alleviates any allergy issues. Recommendations below: 

  • Energy Chews

  • Protein Bars

  • Chewing Gum

  • Trail Mix

  • Beef Jerky
