ITINERARY 

​Day 1 – Personalized Glacier School


Transfer from Quito at 7 am to Antisana Base Camp (4,500 m / 14,764 ft). Personalized glacier training adapted to the climber’s experience, skills, and objectives.
Overnight: Antisana Base Camp- 4500 m - 14,764 ft

Day 2 – Advanced Glacier Training & Summit Preparation

Wake up 11:30 pm  Day 03 starts at 00:30 am 

Second glacier session until approximately 1:00 PM, followed by rest, equipment preparation, and an early dinner before the summit attempt.

Day 3 – Antisana Summit | 5,758 m / 18,891 ft

The ultimate challenge. We start under the stars and move through Antisana’s wild and complex glacier, navigating crevasses, snow, and ice toward one of Ecuador’s most remote summits. After reaching 5,758 m, we descend to Base Camp and return to Quito.​

A true high-altitude adventure and the perfect finale to three days of learning, climbing, and exploration.

This trip is open to all climbers with an excellent level of physical and mental.

Previous climbing experience and glacier school are required.

TRIP INSURANCE

At North x South Expeditions, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. As part of our commitment to ensuring a smooth and secure experience, we now require all travelers to purchase travel insurance with high altitude coverage at a minimum. For climbers planning to climb any of the glaciated peaks, additional insurance will be recommended, but not required.
